Sea Acres is close by featuring 72 hectares of rare and beautiful coastal rainforest. The Koala Park Hospital across the road from the Park is a hospital for injured, cute and cuddly koalas complete with nature trails and picnic areas. At 3pm daily they hold a "walk and talk" which is not to be missed, especially for the children. Port Macquarie's pool is just a quick 2 minutes drive complete with a water slide for children and lots of shade and cover. There are camel rides on Lighthouse beach; licensed Sporting Clubs complete with fantastic dining; sporting grounds and too many to mention cafes and restaurants.
