Port Macquarie Panthers

Port Macquarie’s largest venue, Panthers, offers flexible and versatile spaces including an Auditorium, five function rooms, outdoor covered deck and garden. With modern conference technology and several restaurants, cafés and bars, Port Macquarie Panthers has much to offer the conference delegate.

The Auditorium can accommodate up to 1,000 people theatre style and up to 750 people banquet style, complete with stage, dance floor, podium with PA System, separate audio/visual room with equipment with an in-house technician available. Additional conference rooms are in close proximity to the Auditorium and accessible by stairs and elevator.

Pier One is separated from the club atmosphere and overlooks the picturesque Hastings River. This room is ideal for seminars, wedding receptions, trade exhibition or luncheons. The adjoining outside deck provides the opportunity for additional space.

Rydges Port Macquarie offers first class accommodation and conference facilities in the heart of Port Macquarie’s town centre. With a versatile range of conference facilities and excellent catering packages, Rydges caters for up to 300 people theatre style, with all four conference rooms offering an enviable position adjacent to the Hastings River with river views.

The four function rooms can be used separately or joined together and adjoin a covered balcony. Glasshouse Arts Conference and Entertainment Centre

This 606-seat theatre provides a dramatic and inspiring space that can be used for presentations, performances, and even movie screenings. Other spaces include two meeting rooms, a small function room, a black box studio that accommodates 100 on raked seating, and the Artlab that can be used as a breakout space or in which delegates can participate in creative activities as part of the conference offering. The mezzanine foyer fits 25 trade booths and is filled with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. This is also an inviting space for delegates to mingle over lunch, dinner or cocktails. For a very special event, a cocktail function in the Glasshouse Gallery serves as an ideal opening-night ice breaker as delegates mingle among world-class exhibitions. With an onsite commercial kitchen and catering staff, dining options range from business box lunches to gourmet canapés to five-course meals.

Westport Park

This is Port Macquarie’s most unique venue and an ideal location for large scale events. This all purpose park is currently used for the Australian Ironman Event, Car Shows and Exhibitions, Carnivals and Fairs, Fireworks Demonstrations, the Firefighter Championships, El Capella Blanco, along with other sporting events.

Westport Park has often held up to 5,000 people at one time. The flexibility of Westport Park allows for Marquees and enclosures to be built to accommodate your event needs. Located on the corner of Buller and Parks Streets, Westport Park commands extensive views of the Hastings River and forms an intrinsic link to the Port Macquarie CBD. A cement car park and amenities with accessibility toilet are available with the park.
An application must be submitted to Port Macquarie-Hastings Council requesting to use Westport Park.
