Local Government Sites
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council’s main administrative office is situated in Port Macquarie with branch offices in Wauchope and Laurieton.

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council has made available two interactive social and demographic database products which will assist community and council staff in decision making and planning for the region. Please click on the links below to access these databases:
This database provides census information about our local area. This Census data is updated as information is released by the ABS and can be easily incorporated into planning documents, presentations, community analysis and funding applications.
The second product is an online social atlas presenting maps of Census population characteristics. Mapped at the smallest level possible, these maps will help to identify pockets of difference and disadvantage across our region.

The Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce works to develop and grow local business, by creating opportunities that will benefit the business and professional community throughout the Greater Port Macquarie region.
Wauchope Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a voluntary partnership of business and professional people working together to build better business. The Chamber aims to promote and protect the existing trade and commerce lifestyle, and to welcome new environmentally friendly development in Wauchope and surrounding areas.
The Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism is proud to represent many local businesses and promote the benefits of working and living in the Camden Haven. As a tourist and holiday destination, the Camden Haven is one of the best on the Mid North Coast with amenities and climate to suit all ages.
Greater Port Macquarie Community Sites
The beautiful Camden Haven is located thirty minutes south of Port Macquarie and forty minutes north of Taree. This ‘Valley of Villages’ hugs the Camden Haven River as it makes its way from the lush Comboyne Plateau to the blue Pacific Ocean.
The village of Kendall is on the NSW Mid North Coast, about 3kms west of Kew and the Pacific Highway and half way between Taree and Port Macquarie. It's one of seven villages that make up the Camden Haven region of the Port Macquarie/Hastings Local Government Area.
The Comboyne Plateau lies between the valleys of the Manning River to the south and the Hastings River to the north. It is about 60km south-west of Port Macquarie, 35km west of Kew and 54km north-west of Taree. The plateau lies primarily within in the Port Macquarie Hastings LGA and it borders the Greater Taree LGA.
The Port Macquarie Community College is an established provider of quality education and training to the Hastings community, offering a range of short courses for skill development, personal enrichment and healthy living. Providing flexibility, quality learning and personal service, PMCC can design and deliver training to suit the needs of business and individuals. The College is also a Registered Training Organisation that is able to deliver training and issue nationally recognised qualifications.
