Lola had a Dream - Hello Koalas' New Children's Book Launch

Acclaimed local artist Francessca O'Donnell has created a beautiful children's book "Lola had a Dream', published by the award winning Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail on the NSW Mid North Coast.

This enchanting book has been inspired by the Hello Koalas sculpture "Lady Lola The Dancing Koala", created by Francessca and resident at the Glasshouse Arts and Visitor Centre in Clarence Street, Port Macquarie.

Written and illustrated by Francessca O'Donnell, 'Lola had a Dream' is the first in a planned series of children's books published by Hello Koalas.

The story is about a little koala called Lola who dreams of being a dance but others say to her that koalas can't become dancers, they only eat gum leaves and sleep!

This is a wondrous tale about children daring to dream and the joy of achieving what they aspire to, with determination and a love of dance. Francessca's illustrations are enchanting and create the magic around the words.

The focus of the book launch is the Hello Koalas Gift Shop at Bellbowrie Park Business Centre.

A French edition of 'Lola had a Dream' is planned for 2023 with orders already placed in a Paris shop! Tres excitement!
