With Artist Blacksmith Association of NSW.
The Glasshouse Regional Gallery in Port Macquarie, will host the 1st National Survey Exhibition of contemporary blacksmithing practice.
This exhibition will be a professionally curated and juried exhibition which celebrates the craftsmanship and creativity of forged ironwork while also recognising the diversity of blacksmiths from across all states and territories. The focus is on the creative modes of contemporary blacksmithing from the technical, the expressive, the poetic and the functional. All modes of forging are welcome.
Additionally, there is a collaborative work in panning as part of the show which will enable participation by everyone interested.
