The Saltwater Wine Board Club Battle is the Mid North Coast's premier surf competition. Boardriders clubs from across the region go head-to-head in a high stakes tag team showdown to determine bragging rights of the best Board Club in our area.
This invite only event brings together the best surfers from eight local clubs - Boomerang, Forster-Tuncurry, Saltwater, North Haven, Port Macquarie, Sawtell, Coffs Harbour, and Woolgoolga to compete for bragging rights, cash and prizes.
Held in the lead up to the Australian Boardriders Battle qualifiers, the event helps clubs build momentum, test combinations, and foster club spirit before stepping onto the national stage.
Day 1 - Opens Division
Day 2 - Juniors Division
Each team (as per ABB rules) consists of two Open surfers, one Female, one Senior (35+), and one Junior (U18), with each team nominating a Power Surfer who surfs twice. The comp runs in one-hour tag-team heats, and the team with the highest combined final score will be crowned champion.
