Aaahh...Summer Holidays we love them!  Every Summer has it's own story and the tans will fade but the memories will last forever.  We have put together some highlights and tips on what you can do while you're here to create your own special memories.

    Has a spacious new clinic and raised viewing platform now ready for visitors to look directly through a large glass window into the clinic and watch the staff caring for koalas.  There will also be extra FREE guided tours during the summer holidays daily at 2.15pm and at 3pm.  Take a walk through their new Koalaseum too!

    Neon Summer is an art exhibition and creative festival jam packed with vibrant activities for all ages. The exhibition will inspire your imagination in a dazzling world of vivid colour and breathtaking fantasy. For young and old there will be a buzz of creativity throughout January with free craft activities, weekend workshops, master classes and a Family Fun Day on Sunday 14 January.

    This January there are some wonderful tours and creative worskhops for the young and young at heart!  There are Frugal Forest Adventures with craft workshops, Aboriginal Weaving sessions, Rainforest Meditation Walks, Bush Tucker Tours and colourful crafternoons.   • Douglas Vale Historic Homestead and Vineyard 
    Is the oldest Homestead and Vineyard in Port Macquarie. Open every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 3pm for tours and tastings. Saturday 20th January is their Summer Open Day 9:30am to 2:30pm. Enjoy all day entertainment, BBQs, Devonshire Teas, Children Workshops, Craft & Plant stalls, Homestead tours and more.  Entry by gold coin donation.

    In January Aussie Kids Adventure Camps are running two camps on 8th & 15th January 2018, there will be surfing, drumming classes and splashing at Stoney Aqua park plus loads of other camping activities  (hiking, swimming, fishing, fire building). Until 31st January you can see ‘MILO – a legendary favourite’ exhibition showcasing one of Australia’s most successful brands and favourite drink. Every child entry includes a FREE kids milo milkshake or ice cream with milo.

    With the holiday season approaching Little Fish Cafe has been busy renovating their verandah area to completion. To celebrate they have added a regular live music act every Friday evening starting in December, which comes timely with the launch of their New French Summer menu.  Bookings highly recommended.

    These holidays drop into the quirky international street food cafe down near the Clarence Street wharf in Port. Try their delicious burgers made using fresh ingredients, or famous burritos and pulled beef nachos.     Is open all summer long. Drop in and chat to their knowledgeable staff about surf gear or order a custom board at the Board Store. Their Cafe will be open, serving delicious food like raw vegan treats, gourmet toasted sandwiches, impressive turmeric lattes and the very popular Allpress Espresso.
