COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Update October 2022

The Port Macquarie region is welcoming visitors, however, we ask that you follow all NSW Public Health Orders when considering travel or if you are visiting our region. In particular, if you are unwell, or have been identified as a close or casual contact of a COVID-positive case, please do not travel until the risk has passed and any relevant restrictions have lifted.

We highly recommended you book for most eateries, attractions and accommodation. Everyone must follow the latest health advice by maintaining physical distancing, practicing good hygiene, wearing masks if required/appropriate, and staying home if unwell. For the latest information about restrictions and health advice specific to NSW, please refer to NSW.gov.au/COVID-19.

Please be patient with our businesses as they work through what is still a challenging period. Although they are welcoming visitors, some may be operating with reduced staff.

It has been a challenging period for our Tourism Industry (and our region) so we thank you, your support means a lot to all of us.

It's been a loooong and difficult period and it's not over yet. We will all need a lovely break, and we can't think of anywhere lovelier than Port Macquarie. Please take care, stay well, and we can't wait to see you (safely) very soon!
