Sea Acres Rainforest Centre & Boardwalk
One of our fave ways to spend an afternoon, and just a 3 minute drive from the CBD is this oasis of greenery and calm. A beautiful architecturally-designed gift shop, environmental education centre, and cafe blend into the treetops, and provide the start and finishing point for the 1.3 kilometer timber boardwalk through ancient remnant rainforest.
Part of Sea Acres National Park, Self-guided info is provided, or you can book a ranger-guided tour. The boardwalk has some gentle inclines but is accessible to most.
