Slow up, Fast Down...

If it's included below, you can grab your bike and ride it! You don't have to get all extreme about it either. At the milder end of the spectrum you can cruise along the wide level-ish promenade from Westport Park to Town Green, or riverside from North Haven to Laurieton and beyond. The Googik Track caters for walkers and riders (MTB tyres), and you can get your heart pumping at Jollynose MTB Park or Wayne Richards Velo Pump Track.

The Ultimate Pump Track & Urban MTB Park

The construction of the international standard Velo Pump Track at Wayne Richards Sports Grounds was completed in early 2022, and is a go-to for any keen MTB rider! Adjacent to MTB trails, and hidden in the middle of suburbia, this is a gem you have to seek out!

Foreshore Walk/Cycle Path

You can ride your bike from Settlement Point, around to Westport Park, then riverside all the way to Town Green and on to Town Beach via our Breakwall. If you want to keep off the road, we'd suggest staying between Westport Park and Town Beach. It's a picturesque and flat ride, suitable for all ages. The pathway can get busy, so please be mindful of pedestrians, leashed dogs and other riders! There are a number of coffee stop options along the way.

North Haven to Laurieton & Dunbogan

Another gentle and scenic shared pedestrian/cycling pathway which meanders south from the North Haven breakwall, across the Stingray Creek Bridge and back around to the Camden Haven River at Laurieton. Plans are well progressed for the 'Beach to Beach' Pathway, which will eventually link up to Pilot Beach. Riders can continue on to the Boat Shed at Dunbogan and beyond, depending on your comfort with on-road riding.
