Deep Creek Backyard Ultra

Coastal Track and Trail Runners would like to invite you to the Deep Creek Backyard Ultra. The course is 6.70 kilometres every hour on the hour, on the new Mt Cairncross course. The race offers participants a challenge, catering for both the novice and Ultra Distance Runners. A backyard ultra consists of repeated one-hour laps. Each lap begins on the hour and must be completed within that hour.

The race is only a short distance from Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Telegraph Point in the beautiful Hastings Area. All racing will take place in Cairncross State Forest. Deep Creek Backyard Ultra is in it's inaugural in 2026.

You will travel through the State Forest and NSW Crown Lands and land of the traditional owners, the Birpai People.
