Douglas Vale Historic Homestead and Vineyard

Welcome to a unique experience within Australia! A heritage museum and working vineyard run totally by volunteers.

Drop in through the stately bamboo. Enjoy a free tour of the 1862 homestead with its eclectic artefacts. Explore the original outbuildings. Taste the six limited release wines.

Their famous Portabella is grown from 150 year old Isabella wine stock. Bring a picnic or enjoy one of their cheese platters. Wander the three hectares of grounds and discover their exotic plants. An orchard and vegetable garden also highlight the lifestyle of the times.
