Port Macquarie

Port Macquarie Koala Hospital

The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital is situated in the grounds of the historic and beautiful Roto House. It is the world's first hospital dedicated solely to the care and conservation of koalas. The hospital has a treatment room, eight Intensive Care Units, a 24 Hour Rescue operation and multiple recovery yards.

Tours of the facility, educational displays and koala yards are self-guided. Visiting the Koala Hospital is free of charge and the hospital is open daily.

Koala Conservation Australia Ltd is a voluntary organisation and your support will help save the koalas and koala habitat in the Port Macquarie-Hastings-Macleay Area.

All donations gratefully accepted.
