Just one minute off the M1 roundabout just north of the northern Port Macquarie turnoff, an ideal pit stop - Ricardoes with free entry is an ideal swift refreshment stopover along the road or an indulgence for all ages to while away several hours.
Row upon row of outstanding white igloo-style greenhouses march across lush countryside. Inside, glorious red-ripe tomatoes climb to the sky on towering Jack and the Beanstalk-type vines and sweet succulent strawberries scale vertical latticed avenues. All attractions are under cover in the greenhouses in case of rain, wind or chill.
Welcoming air-conditioned "Cafe Red" BYO no corkage; high chairs available has budget-priced farm fresh brekkie/brunch, lunches, snacks, brewed tea, barista coffee, cakes, and Devonshire Teas with wonderful farmhouse scones warm and fluffy direct from the oven, lavished with natural cream and their own strawberry jam.
